The Church of the Divine Heart is now planning on holding a service of the divine liturgy, initially every four weeks, in Portland. Potential locations are all in or near the city centre. It is estimated that the cost of holding such a service would be about $50 to $70 each time. The service would utilize the experimental liturgical texts for the Book of Divine Service 2008, which largely is based on Scottish and American Anglican use. Volunteers are much needed to make this happen.
