This morning the Western Church celebrates Easter. In liturgical traditions it is marked by acts symbolizing death-to-life, darkness-to-light. While there may be always sceptics who doubt the
"historicity" of the resurrection, the spiritual value of the holy mythos behind Easter is eternal (beyond any confines of time or space) and is thus salvific possessing a transforming possibility in our lives. In every Easter one participates in this grand theme; I pray today that you may find life and light!
